After many intensive discussions and a constructive exchange of information we can now announce the cooperation between Rothfuss Best Gabion GmbH & Co. KG based in Wittlich (Germany) and Bekaert NV/SA based in Zwevegem (Belgium). The relevant contractual agreement was concluded on December 11, 2019 and signed both by Jan Boelens (Senior Vice President Steel Wire Solutions EMEA) and Axel Friedhoff (Managing Director Rothfuss Best Gabion). With Bekaert as the world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality wire products and Rothfuss Best Gabion as the market leader in the German gabion market, two strong partners have joined forces to forge a far-reaching and promising alliance.
In detail, the cooperation is based on a multi-layered synergy between the two companies, which extends both to the supply of goods and to technological and strategic support. Rothfuss Best Gabion, for example, will in future draw on Bekaert’s high-quality products and is the exclusive partner for the first-class BezinalÒ 2000 wire. The reliable source of wire as a direct link between the two companies is one of the numerous pillars of the cooperation. In addition, Bekaert will also supply selected semi-finished wire mesh products to Rothfuss Best Gabion.
In addition to the exclusive purchase of the wire for use in gabion products, Rothfuss Best Gabion will also have access to Bekaert’s research and development capacities. The Belgian company will also support Rothfuss Best Gabion in the Europe-wide distribution of its products with a selected team.
As part of the recently agreed cooperation, Rothfuss Best Gabion will also be represented together with Bekaert at the “Wire” trade fair in Düsseldorf (07.12. – 11.12.2020).
