As a leading manufacturer of high-quality gabion grids, we are always pleased to report on the successful projects of our customers around the world. Today, we turn our attention to one of the most ambitious construction projects that has been implemented in Germany in recent years: The “Gigafactory” baptised production site of the US car manufacturer Tesla in Gr\u00fcnheide near Berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our long-standing customer GGS Terracon<\/a>, based in Moritzburg, was commissioned by the company ARIKON to construct a slope protection system in Gr\u00fcnheide with a length of approx. 790m and a height of up to 5.0m, partially covered with a backslope and including the earthworks for backfilling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our product “Roko<\/a>“, the classic spiral gabion with edge wire, was used. Approximately 65 tonnes of spot-welded gabion grids were delivered, including the accessories required for assembly such as spirals (lanyards) and spacers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
