Customer projects are always great examples of the wide range of uses for our gabions. Like this project right on our doorstep in the beautiful Eifel region, a support structure between Niedermanderscheid and Pantenburg.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Delta Green<\/a>, slopes up to approx. 70\u00b0 can be permanently and securely fixed. This was also the case in this construction project, where the greened steep slope element was constructed on the basis of monotecR<\/a>\u00ae grids individually manufactured according to the customer’s wishes, but the basic function of Delta Green was kept:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spot-welded steel wire grids with zinc-aluminum coating (95% zn, 5% al) were used for the elements with a length of 200 cm, a wire thickness of 5mm and a mesh size of 10×10 cm. In addition, geogrids from TENSAR were used to stabilize the slope. This resulted in a visible area of approx. 120 sqm, which blends in wonderfully with the Eifel landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n

Another benefit: Thanks to the inwardly bent and welded eyelets as well as locking rods, the monotecR\u00ae grid is the ideal basis for a structure without dangerous wire protruding – important for a publicly accessible path with direct public traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
